YEA, Spring is finally here! This is a great time of the year. Our area of the planet comes back to life and the designer certainly gives us a beautiful picture to enjoy for several weeks. In 2011, Jean & I started having a spring gathering at our home. We always did it in the last weekend of April, after the required filing date. Part of the reason was, because I’m no fan of paying taxes, we celebrated the fact that we really do live in a great country and locale. So, if you haven’t already filed, I hope the attached article may help because audits are no fun.
For those of us that were around, it’s been 50 years since Neil Armstrong stepped foot on the moon. Looking back, we’ve certainly have come a long way. The Hubble Telescope has always amazed me and has delivered incredible photographs of what’s “out” there. As I was reading the attached article and viewing the pictures, I got to the bottom and was given a special treat. I hope you too, read the article, get to the bottom and see what I’m talking about. Spectacular!
I spent some time in Florida last week working with the investment team and the mutual fund managers that we use. Overall results for YTD 2019 have been good and most of the ground lost in 4QTR2018 has been recovered. Which, once again we live with the temporary drops in value to enjoy the long term benefits the equity markets have provided. Should you have any questions or wish to get together, please let me know.
Now, let’s go out and enjoy what’s around us as spring arrives.
