Last weekend was pretty special for Jean & me as our blended family all met in Memphis for a special Jewish celebration called a Bat Mitzvah. This special day celebrates the Jewish girls moving into Jewish adulthood, accepting the traditions, customs and privileges of their heritage. Primarily, the day speaks of passing traditions down from generation to generation.
With this last weekend in mind, I thought it would be good to pass along my latest whiteboard, “Is estate planning only for the rich?” It just reminds us all to pay attention to the details of our planning and to make sure our plan takes us to where we want it to take us with no unintended consequences.
Please take the time to review this important area of your life and that of your loved ones. Should you have any questions or wish to talk about this, just call or email me so we can schedule a time to move forward.
As always, I hope we all can go out and make this week a special week.
